In addition to being President of Corporate Substance
Abuse Programs, Inc., Mr. Goldhaber is Managing Partner of Rosenthal and
Goldhaber PC, a successful business and commercial law practice located
in Hauppauge, New York.
In 1999 Mr. Goldhaber became President of Corporate Substance
Abuse Programs, Inc. Prior to becoming President, he acquired extensive
experience in drug testing and substance abuse program administration,
working in a number of positions with the company.
A graduate of Brandeis University, Mr. Goldhaber earned
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1988. After graduation, he went on
to earn his law degree from Boston University. Mr. Goldhaber's experience
with corporate substance abuse began early on in his career while working
as a legal intern for the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority. In 1990,
the federal government passed legislation that mandated drug testing for
employees of any organization that fell under the jurisdiction of the
U.S. Department of Transportation. As a result, Mr. Goldhaber was able
to gain a valuable understanding of drug testing laws. He assisted the
Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority in developing rules and employee regulations
regarding substance abuse.
In 1991, Mr. Goldhaber joined his father working in the law
firm founded by his grandfather Max Goldhaber, and partner Benjamin Rosenthal,
in 1940. In response to a growing need of their clients, in 1989 the partners
of Rosenthal and Goldhaber founded Corporate Substance Abuse Programs,
Inc. The company was created to assist clients in developing, administering
and complying with changing federal and state laws and regulations.
Today Mr. Goldhaber manages the day-to-day operations
of both Rosenthal and Goldhaber and Corporate Substance Abuse Programs,
Inc. Specializing in commercial litigation (including breach of contract
and collections), contract/document drafting and review, asset purchases
and sales, business succession planning, labor relations, and mechanics
liens and bonds claims, the firm is one of Long Island's most respected.
Today the firm services a variety of clients from small businesses to
multi million dollar operations. As a respected litigator, Mr. Goldhaber
regularly works with clients in this capacity.
Currently, Mr. Goldhaber is licensed to practice law
in the state courts of New York and Massachusetts, as well as the southern
and eastern New York federal districts.
A Long Island native, Mr. Goldhaber is involved with
several business organizations and not-for-profit groups, including
The Long Island Business and Professional Leaders Division of UJA,
and The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association.

and Hannah. He enjoys playing tennis and is a connoisseur of fine wines.
